Training for professionals on Prevention and Intervention of Female Genital Mutilation
Increasingly, female genital mutilation is being considered a significant problem. In our country, it is a question which requires more answers. In health, social and educational areas professionals have an important role in the prevention of this practice and intervening with girls and women who have suffered it.
This main objective of this teaching is to train professionals to detect situations of risk and to apply in their professional role the protocols, safety practices and attention to female genital mutilation.
The courses last between 4 and 8 hours and can be held anywhere in the country with 10 to 30 participants. They are totally free to the target group and organizing entities and include material and documentation.
